Bogentech is responsible for the personal data in Glugg. Contact: contact@bogentech.no.
Your calls
Calls are end-to-end encrypted. The key is the part of the meeting link
after #, which your browser or app never sends to us. When two
people can't connect directly, our server passes their encrypted video and
sound along without being able to read it. We don't record calls. The name
you enter in a meeting is sent only to the others in it, encrypted.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, when you signed up, and when you last signed in. Kept until you delete your account, which you can do from the app or the web page.
- Sign-in email: to sign you in we email you a code through our own mail service, which keeps a delivery record so it doesn't mail addresses that bounce.
- One cookie: it keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. Nothing tracks you.
- Your IP address: our server sees it while you are connected, because that is how calls are connected. It is held in memory for up to an hour to limit sign-in attempts, and not written down.
- Reports: when someone reports a meeting, we get an email with what they wrote, and the accounts and IP addresses of the people in the meeting at that moment. We keep it as long as we need to handle the report, and hand it to the police when the law requires.
We don't sell data, show ads, or use analytics. Our servers are in Norway. We use your data only to run Glugg, and to meet legal duties such as police requests, for which we can hand over only what is listed here.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data by writing to us, or delete your account yourself. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority.
